Chassis Installation

I have always worn Tour boots, (except for anything on that dreadful G-Series line) and I just bought a pair of Bluemaxes to replace my extremely worn out 962's. Can anyone recommend a quality shop to take the Hum'er chassis off and install my new Red Star Hi-Lo's? I had a bad experience at a local shop with a pair of Grafs I switched a couple of years ago and I just want a quality professional job done. I also called Tour and left a message with their Sales Rep, he has always called me back. So...I will post anything he tells me as well. The Hum'er chassis just does not work for me.

LOL, I sold them to a friend. They were just not right for me. They really pitched me back onto my heels and the wheel set up was not great for me either, I could not stop very well. The larger rear wheel was the only thing digging in when I tried to make quick or fast stops. I broke several wheels trying to break them in, but no success. I felt very unstable on them. So...I went back to old faithful...Tour. The Bluemax skate is considerably more stiff than the Redmax and I bought a pair of the Red Star chassis, their top of the line model. I cannot wait to have them put on and start breaking in the boot.

No problem. I would be happy to ship them to a qualified shop. I just want to avoid a crappy job. I am going to wait on what Brad with Tour has to say though. He may be able to recommend someone who can do it properly. I just do not understand how all the other skate manufacturers could allow Mission to snatch the Hi-Lo patent. Mission skates suck, I mean no quality...they fall apart. Their stupid lacing system is gone for 2006 though. I think they have had a belly full of repairing or replacing skates with broken lacing. I tried on a pair at a local shop and broke one just trying to lace the skate up and I did it exactly the way Mission instructs you to lace those skates.

Anyway, I may for a short time, give that stupid Hum'er chassis a try, but I doubt it will be to my liking. The Redmax pair I bought originally...did not turn or pivot well at all. I need every advantage I can get chasing down all these super fast kids. The Hi-Lo has always been my favorite and probably always will be.

Yeah it was pretty stupid of Mission to do that, I use to have the Sensor Chasis on an Easton Boot, I loved those skates, I just recently bought a pair of Blue MAxx I feel like im on my heels teh whole time but i do feel faster.
