WIDE Skates...?
I have a EE/EEE foot & was wondering what skates guys with WIDE feet are leaning towards...Bauer is cut too narrow...besides GEAR what skates are cut wide..?

Re: WIDE Skates...?
Quickchange skates are wide with a shorter wide toe box, Tour Skates, but not the 2004 G40/60/80/90 series, and GEAR
and thats all !
I have a 4E foot, and my 12 year old is already too wide for a 2E.
It is not necessarily only the width though. The length of the tox box and the width of the toe box also can vary.
I tried a pair of Mission Ice Boot (Amp Fly/Pure Fly series) that were 2E for my son and although the boot was wide enough the toe box was too narrow and the instep was not high enough for the top of his feet to be comfortable.
In conclusion, Tour, Quickchange and GEAR are you best 3 bets, but try on before you buy or at least make sure you can exchange if necessary.

Re: WIDE Skates...?
You should try CCM Vectors. I know they are cut wider than most skates. I have PF8s that are D width and they feel wider than other D width skates out there.

Re: WIDE Skates...?
I have a EE foot also and use the Nike V12 ice boot with a inline chassis mounted on. I have had no problems with them and actually find them too wide at times.

Re: WIDE Skates...?
Bryan,
The Vectors are a great skate (especially the PF10's, lightest skate I have ever held in my hands and impossible to find in my son's size-6EE); but even a wide D width is not going to help someone with a EE/EEE foot. And as I mentioned before the toe box size and shape also makes a difference.
