Dennis Murphy, a co-founder of Roller Hockey International, the professional inline hockey league that ran from 1993 to 1999 (with a hiatus in 1998), has announced that an RHI reunion will take place on August 20, 2005, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.

The event, which is now in its planning stages, will be put together with the assistance of Richard Graham, editor of Inline Hockey Central; Jeff Buma, president of the IHA (Inline Hockey Association, formerly known as The Elite League); and former RHI administrators, coaches and players.

InlineHockeyCentral's readers are all invited to attend.

The event is tentatively scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. with a happy hour, followed by dinner and entertainment, speakers, and then three IHA pro games -- the San Diego Sharks vs. Huntington Beach Blazers, the new Anaheim Bullfrogs vs. Rink Rats, and the South County Bulls vs. the OC Cowboys. The games will star former Roller Hockey International players such as Rob Laurie and Joe Cook (formerly of the Anaheim Bullfrogs), and Gerry St. Cyr (formerly of the Portland Rage, New Jersey Rockin Rollers, Sacramento River Rats and Las Vegas Coyotes).
