Any talks of a west coast division? Or east coast expansion with Benny's IHL teams?

    Re: piha

I apologize, there will be a division in Colorado. My "no" was to the question of a merger with Benny's teams.

I was at one point considering, either putting a team into that league or more recently helping with one that is going to. However, I find it a bit egotistical that they all of a sudden plan to purposely overlap the PIHA season, after working so hard with us last season to avoid it. I mean no disrespect to the teams involved, we have developed a tremendous respect for most of the teams and players in the opposing league(s). However PIHA is the one consistant league out there right now and it takes a huge set to pay us no mind. Our league has consistantly done its best to avoid playing at the times of the other leagues, as to provide the players the option to play everywhere. I have put several calls into Benny about this and have yet to receive a phone call back.

Before this gets out of hand, I just want everyone to know that I am no longer involved in the sport of roller hockey. I cannot speak for Steve Seeger, but to the best of my knowledge, the XIHL will not be operating for the upcoming season.

For all of you who have supported our efforts and me personally, I want to thank you. For all my critics, REJOICE! I'll still be keeping an eye on things from time-to-time, but my priorities have changed.

I wish everyone out there the best of luck.
