Canada Wins Game Two
CHATHAM, Ontario, Canada - Canada Inline, the National Governing Body for Inline Hockey, member of the Canadian Olympic Committee and proud member of the Federation of Roller Sports (FIRS) announced today that the Men?s National Team has won its second game at the 2007 Pan Am Games qualifying event in Argentina. Canada defeated the home town National Team of Argentina 11-4.
Canada is still suffering from jet lag and getting use to the outdoor facility and heat. As always we must prepare our teams for all types of conditions and adversity. This known fact about competing internationally in any sport is why Canada Inline exposes our youth teams to many international events and tournaments so we can prepare the players for all the elements of ?High Performance? inline hockey.
Goal scorers for Canada were Danny Larocque - 3, Kent McCord -2, Singles to Andrew Tait, Raphael Protopapas, Rob Leggatt, Mark Lefebvre, Jerome Bourassa, Terry Bick.
Canada has today off (Thursday) and resume play against Columbia whom lost to USA 3-0 on Wednesday. Canada will look forward to a day to rest and prepare for the next two games.
