I'm working on a mid 6 figure deal, but that's a little on the high end. See what others post about salaries to get a better idea. LOL
Most do not get paid much. Freebies are the name of the game.
Yes, "Professional" might be a bit misleading in such a case, but you do have a good number of players participating from all the various other pro events like TORHS and NARCH, so it really is just semantics.
i was just wondering. it has no effect on whether i'm going to play or not b/c i just want to play.
i heard a rumor about a future lockout in the PIHA, and something about the minor leaguers as replacement players....anyone else have any feedback to this horrifying rumor ?
oh and salary ? heh, id be happy with celery !
They can take my spot; half are better. And I do play for celery.
And beans.
beans too? i guess that makes you the highest paid player in the league. i was hoping to sign a broccoli deal.
Broccoli gives me gas.
you say most do not get paid much speed, but some do get paid?
well i cant afford gas these days on a celery salary, so hook me up bro !
oxygen gives you gas

Yeah, I get paid speed. It's the good stuff too. Not that stuff that leaves your mouth all dry.
I don't know who gets paid. Sorry, can't answer that.
$.000002?
NOOOOO !!!! $.000003
There is an old journalism term that referred to a player's best years as his "salad days."
Otherwise...in some attempt to actually answer the original question:
If/when our sport develops regional, professional leagues, with city identity, etc...which is the next step beyond the PIHA, XIHL...players will not be able to fully support themselves on their "hockey salary," which will be in the neighborhood of $300-500 per month...hockey won'r be their "day job" for some time...
This is not a negative thing, however...all professional sports started out this way...If you look at the Grand Final press releases from the 1987 Australian Football League championships, for example, each player bio actually lists what their day job was...and with no apologies, either, these were legitimate athletes, playing their game at a high level, with a fan following in the tens of thousands for their matches...today, these athletes make that 6-7 figure salary, endorsements, etc...
Inline hockey will follow into that path over the next few years or so...other discussion threads on this and other message boards have gone into this in detail...hope that gives you some idea of reality...
