how long do they the beemer inferno one peices last. i've been using blades in my aluminum shaft for like 9 years. and i cracked it. so i thin it's time to move into the present and get a one. i hear the gear sticks are a little flimsy. i know tons of people use them. jst wondering what kind of life they have. and can i stick a blade in it if it breks.

No experience with the beemer, but I am a huge of the CCM Vector's. Great performance and from my experience, the longest lasting of the one pieces.

The beemer is an interesting one piece. It is EXTREMELY blade heavy compared to other one pieces. I personally hate using synergy's and such because I can't feel the puck that well. As far as lifespan goes, I'm not a reliable source of info on that, as I tend to not break sticks that quickly.

My son is on his fourth Beemer Inferno Modano X-2 stiff (87 - 90 flex) stick since October, in XIHL, PIHA, open hockey, house league hockey and practices. Probably 3 - 4 times a week for most of that time.

The first one was broken from a hard slash on his first shift using it in a game, so that hurt the "average" a bit.

It has worked out for him (everyone plays a bit differently so it's hard to compare between playing styles)to about 35% - 50% longer life than he got out of the Easton Synergies.

However...the sticks costs only 70% of the price of a regular Synergy 85 Modano which he used for about 18 months (went through a stick about every 3-4 weeks), and he likes the feel of the Beemer Inferno better than the Synergy. So net savings is 50% - 60% versus the Synergy's he used previously, and for a stick he actually likes better.

As for the Beemer being extremely "blade heavy"....they have a great reputation as being one of the best balanced sticks out there. That balance is probably their most significant feature. Everyone that we know who has used them, feels that it is the balance which makes it a good, if not a great stick. The feel of the blade is excellent too, not a "hard' blade feel like the Vectors..or at least like the Vectors from 2 years ago.
Not sure if your evaluation is from personal use or just trying one in the shop, or from what someone else has said, but that is just the opposite of what we have seen.

Check out the comments on other boards, the balance recieves very positive mention all the time when players talk about the Beemer sticks.

However I would agree with Wolves_10 that the Vector is certainly one of the most durable of the ops sticks out there.

The blade heavy feel is from personal use, but it's not a bad thing. The biggest problem I have with one piece sticks, is because they are so light, they have no feel. The Beemer is definitely blade heavy as far as sticks go, as I also use a Mission m-2 shaft with an Easton hybrid pro blade that feels much more balanced end to end, but not necessarily a better feel. The tour is by no means a bad stick, especially at the lower price they are available at, and I would highly recommend them.

i thought about the vector because i've been using rechi blades for a while. but i like the rubber coating of the beemer. i'm gonna pick one up this week and try it. i only weigh 140. so i don't have a ton of weight behind my shots. my sticks seem to last a while. the aluminum shaft i just broke i've been using for 9 years. it's sad to see it go

The vector also has a rubber grip coating.

Actually the "Beemer" does not have a "rubber coating" per se, although it does sort of feel like it...that is just the feel of the polyurethane used in the finish.

well it feels rubbery. which vector model is coated. the only ones i've felt were not. i might look into those.

The V-110 not coated, V-120 & new V-130 coated. The new V-130 stick is insane ! SUPER light but very strong. Tough to find right now & $200 price tag, but well worth it.

the rubber grip on the vector is garbage... it peels right off in about 2 games. Also, the stickers they put on the shaft peel and take the grip off with it. It's a good stick but they really need to work on the grip.

The new Synergy's (I forget what there called but there taking the place of the Si-Core and Si-Core Grip in the Easton lineup) are very good sticks aswell. I used a friends at sticktime tonight and it's just amazing. With the exception of the Stealth and Innovative stuff it has to be the best stick I have ever used. In terms of grip Easton has got it just right (had a long time with there Synergy Grip)...in terms of the Tour Beemer I just can't move my hands on it to stick handle, it's the same with the new redish colored Bauer stick but the Vapor 20 and Vapor 30 both have very nice grip (just where your lower hand is when your shooting the rest of the stick is pretty slick). In terms of the Vector's I wouldn't suggest them just because they don't seem to last very long at all. If you can find it somewhere get a Tour shaft with the wave in it and a Synergy Si-Core ZCarbon blade, it's a nasty combo.

Beemer stix are great, my friend has had one all season. since september.) and he slashes and gets slashed a lot, and takes a bunch of slappers too. A very impressive stick performance-wise and financially.

P.S. Does anyone know what that new bright green Easton one-piece is?
