Chris Phillips, Mighty Ducks of Anaheim NHL Joins Bulls staff as Director of player strength, conditioning and off Rink Training.
Chris will be designing and implementing strength, conditioning programs for all members of the MPC Bulls based on individual need. The same man who trains Sergei Fedorov will now be working with our own MPC Bulls players.
Chris Phillips, Bio
Chris Phillips enters his fourth season as the head athletic trainer for the Mighty Ducks. Phillips joined the club in the summer of 1999 after spending the previous five years as head athletic trainer of the Worcester Ice Cats of the American Hockey League (AHL). This past summer, Phillips was selected to be the trainer for Team USA at the World Championships in Sweden.
In his five seasons in Worcester, Phillips worked every game and practice in team history with one exception.
The 33-year-old Phillips served two seasons as trainer with the New Haven Nighthawks (AHL) from 1991-93. He began his career as an athletic trainer with New Haven in 1989, where he served as an intern for two seasons before being promoted to trainer in 1991.
A native of New York, Phillips is certified by both the National Athletic Trainers Association and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is a graduate of Quinnipiac College with a bachelor's degree in Allied Health and Science.
Chris will be at the facility on March 13th, Sunday. To pass information and begin training of our players. He will also be running dryland training at the March 28th, 29th and 31st camp.

The MPC Bulls are adding Upland for teams for the 2005 season. We are looking for players who want to become better and learn to play at a competitive level. Our goal is to offer one skills session and practice per week. Skills and sessions for practice TBA. Players in Irvine are not eligible for transfer to Upland for tryouts.
Cost per player per month $100. Includes 3-5 practices and 3-5 skills sessions per month. Players must also play inhouse and have a valid membership. (Tournaments are not included in the cost and are additional.) Each Bull player will receive gloves, pants and jerseys for an additional cost.
