Shadows Strike again!!
Shadows Hockey from Columbiana, Al. Strike AGAIN! Way to go Shadows on your results in the Fundraiser Iron Man in Dothan, Al.
The newest program from Alabama is rapidly gaining speed and having success in the Southeastern Region. Shadows Hockey Has competed in 4 tournaments since October 2004 between Georgia and Alabama. The Shadows have been placing in the top 3 if not winning their diviosion's.
The Shadows Hockey Club is determinded to show the Inline world there is hockey in and around Alabama. Shadows Hockey's main focus is competitive travel hockey.
The Shadows Hockey club has teams in the 8u, 10u, 12u, 14, 16u, 18u and adult divisions. These young and talented players are setting the standard for players in Alabama. Their goal is to open the doors for many of the up and coming players and teams from Alabama.
Just to name a few of the Shadows accomplishments,
2HOT4ICE Winter Nationals
12 under 1st place
14 under 3rd place (undefeted in round robin play)
17 under 3rd place
Adult 4th place, behind Total Hockey and the Mercinaries
The Adult team was comprised of 4 16 under player, 2 20 under's and 1 adult. This very young and out sized team held the Total Hockey (Pro) team to a 4-2 game.
Their most recent success was at the Iron Man in Dothan, AL. The came home with:
1st place 12 under,
1st place 14 under,
2nd place Adult (undefeted in the round robin) only to lose to the Mercinaries (D1) team 2-1 in the Championship game. Not bad for 5 16 year old kids.
Be sure to keep your eyes open for more info, on the Shadows Hockey Club from Alabama.

Re: Shadows Strike again!!
Just to let everyone know what type teams the Shadows are. The Shadows are formerly from Colorado, they mainly competed in AIRHS and NARCH events around the country.
The Shadows have a 10 year history of competing in Narch as the Shadows , Team GEAR, Team Kuzak, Team Prime, Team Syven and for a breif stint as Team NEXED.
I am sure we will see a lot more of the Shadows in the southeast.

Re: Shadows Strike again!!
IRON MAN, OH MAN! By Scott Duncan
At 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, 19 February, the first Iron Man All-Nighter was played in the fabled Bob-A-Lu Hockey Coliseum. The final buzzer squalled at nearly 6:30 a.m. and weary hockey players filed from the rink after a night well played. A total of 17 teams made up brackets of 12U, 14U and Adults. Thanks to John Marr for bringing his young guns all the way from Shadow Sportsplex in Columbiana, to Dave Vitty for mustering the Dothan youth, to our usual suspects from the DRHA who would rather play hockey, suffering the slings and arrows of outraged wives/girlfriends, than sleep and thanks to Brad White for bringing the idea of the All Nighter to life. Typically, thanks to Dave Besecker for being there all night and for providing some cool prizes for the younger players. After having had so much fun, I cannot imagine that the next All Nighter is too far away.

J/K means, just kidding. I was making a joke cause your team's name changes so many times.

Re: Shadows Strike again!!
Got it sorry, No we were sponsored by all of those at the same time except for the few months with Nexed. Each of our age divisions carried different names at different tournament. Mainly we were Team GEAR.
