Richard,

So lay it on me man, are we going to see another inline League? I know you're an insider you must have inside info.
For crying out loud we have Major League Soccer, Arena Football and all sorts of other leagues! Soccer for Pete's sake! I mean, I don't know many americans who still have Cup Fever. I enjoy soccer so no flaming

Geez, what is this world comming to when ESPN can broadcast Dog Shows (which have been going on for how long?), trading card tournamnets (Magic: The Gathering with $25,000 first place) but there's no roller hockey league?

Hi Reaper,

Though some people are working hard on creating pro hockey leagues on a regional level, I think it will be a while before we see another league on par with RHI. It lasted from 1993-1998 with a one-year hiatus before folding. I credit that to Dennis Murphy, the league's co-founder, who also created the American Basketball Association (ABA) and World Hockey Association (WHA). I miss Dennis; I think I'll call him and see what he's cooking up now

Something needs to happen. Heck, even if its a smaller season during the off ice hockey season that way the league could attract minor league ice hockey players and other hard core inline hockey players.
