New Wheels

Anyone tried the new Formula wheels and Revision stuff? Comparisons with Rink Rats and Dynasties would be nice.

Great to see all this new technology helping improve the sport...definitely the grip of these newer wheels has impacted how the game can be played.

somewhere on this board players were talking about the factory wheels. search around and you'll find some info. I remember some saying that the factory wheel feels nice for a couple of skates, but wear down and lose there grip too fast. Rink Rats all the way !!!!

I can comment on the ReVision wheels. Seriously, if you thought the Rink Rats were ridiculous... just give the ReVisions a whirl. Speed, grip, durability... they're better then my 2 sets of rink rats and million sets of dynastys. Comparisons...

RV vs Dynasty's... The Dynasty's in my opinion were just kinda mushy by comparison. They wore down rather quickly and after that it was another couple bills outta my wallet for a new set of Labeda's.

RV vs Rink Rat Hot Shots... I got my Rink Rats and fell in love the first time I had them. But after about 10-12 uses the outter pour looked like it was pulling away from the inner pour, and that just really discouraged me. But I didn't want to go back to Dynasty's so it was more RinkRats. Then I got a set of the ReVisions and it took a couple skates to get used to the way the inner workings of the wheel were, but I think the benefits are Definitely there.

I'll be honest, I've been skating on RV's for the past 6 or 7 months and I haven't had a single problem. No loss of grip, no chips, no chunks, no cracks, no inner pour pulling from the outter, no mushy wheels. If you Haven't tried these yet, They are worth their weight in gold. But from what i understand you can Only get these in pro shops and won't find them online. Give them a whirl if you happen to come across them.

I will give the RV's a try sometime, but I was talking about the Hornets when I said Rink Rats. They are much better than the Hot Shots. Give them a try if you haven't used them yet.
