Yeah, Ill help you out. Ill put up about 4 grand to buy my own PIHA team, have it play out of a facility in Philadelphia, and try to compete. Sorry, I can't help you out (it would be one big headache)...well, maybe I can in about 5 months for another league. As for PIHA, don't be fooled, most of the teams have their spots picked out. This is, unless you want to play in the Minors division ( your age?). I hate to sound pessimistic here, but I am just a realist. I have been around these leagues for about 5 yrs and have a good idea what goes on behind the scenes and what not. For me personally, I had to be a GM in one of these leagues to play 7 games at a fairly competitive level of hockey ( XIHL). I am one who does not mind spreading my opinion to whomever wants to hear it and will back up every sentiment I make ( in private, not in a public board though). Good luck with the team finding....

PIHA-The question is, where will my home be?
the typhoon tryouts are the 23rd and 27th of december and contrary to one person's jaded opinion our team is not already picked. of course every team has their "franchise players" but i think we are pretty fair when it comes to picking our team. we don't really just look at the players talent, we look at the whole package...commitment, dedication, and attitude play a big part.
Thanks guys I found a team that I can tryout for but you can leave more messages for anybody who is like me and doesn't have a place to play yet this year
who is the rage and where is the united place?

The team is being run by Nick Pilotti (formerly Shockwave). As I understand it he has worked extremely hard to build a strong group during the off season as he has moved from Iceline to USTC. Without a doubt they will be a formitable opponent this season and is a great place for those looking for a tryout opportunity. Best of luck!
