TORHS (Tournament of Roller Hockey Series) is proud to announce the new Rink Rat NICC (National Inline Conference Championships).

We believe this is the future of the sport of roller hockey because it makes sense to play for your region, and then compete for national recognition similar to the NCAA college program, said Michael Hunt, National Sales Manager, Rink Rat. With the support of Rink Rat, CCM, and the developmental programs through the Gerry St Cyr hockey schools this will provide a great opportunity for the growth and development of the sport, said Tony Abbate, President, TORHS.

The country will be divided into conferences. The first season included, ACC (Atlantic Coast Conference), ECC(East Coast Conference), MAC (Mid America Conference) and the SBC (Sun Belt Conference. This season will include the conferences from last season with an addition, WCC (West Coast Conference).

The conferences hold open division tournament seeding. The division winners will play against the division winners from the five regional conference championships for the NICC (National Inline Conference Championship title. The conference champions will represent their division at the NICC division in Detroit at the Taylor Sportsplex for free.

They also automatically qualify to play in the TORHS America National Tournament played at the same venue in the same week.

Playing in the NICC provides every athlete, from five regions, with an opportunity to represent their conference in a national championship just like college athletes do across America.

Not only will the winners of each division in the conferences play for the NICC title, they can also play at the TORHS America National tournament in one action-packed trip. Division winners in every conference, Atom through Bantam, will receive custom Rink Rat team jerseys for the NICC.

The NICC is projecting that 1,300 teams will compete during the season and 200 teams will make it to the championships. Dont miss out on all the fun, sign your team up for the NICC today!
