PIHA-Is there a league this year?

To shed some light....

Yes there is a PIHA league this year, other than DB's sarcasm there has been no reason to think otherwise.

Here is what I know and can tell you. Currently there are 6 teams that are in with the possibility of several more. Those teams are Typhoon, Shockwave, Growl, Lunatics, and two teams in the greater pittsburg area. There is still the possibility that the NAsty Boyz will be returning. The former Beast organization is now in league with the SHockwave, as the Nasty Boyz might be if they dont have their own squad. We expect that Stio and Silvia, owners of the Extremes and Minutemen are going to get something together as well. The only other iron in the fire is the Roberts group, which was supposed to play outta Skate Zone or the COliseum, but there is very little credibility there especially after their COugars team did not show in XIHL.

That is basically what I know for now. So we will be somewhere between 6-9 teams this season.

Everyone is so sensitive this time of the year. I want to get some talk going for this weekend....You got some really exciting players coming to Aston this weekend....High Flying John Pinheiro and crew from the Thunder versus Kos's crew from Ottakringer. I have played with Sean Sullivan, on NJ, and he is very exciting to watch. Him and Pinheiro will have a great battle at 4:30 on Saturday. In the night cap, you have the extremely talented Wolves playing the Philadelphia Sting. I would name a few guys from the Wolves, but Ill just say their secret weapon is the man they call plaugher. For the Philly guys, we have some MLRH players from the past coming up to make their debut. It should be a hard hitting high scoring affair that could be an entertaining start to everyone's saturday night. In the morning rematch from two weeks ago, the Thunder take on the Sting 11am, with the Sting looking to get something by the wall known as Mike Perry. The late game on Sunday features Ottakringer facing the Wolves. It should be a great weekend for hockey, and looking forward to seeing all the players and fans in the stands at the Funspot.

Sting 3 Wolves 16 ( I believe, I was kicked out with 5 minutes left for a fracus....

Thats about all I can say, as I will try and get some sleep before I wake up in 7 hrs...More details to come once i recover on monday....
