    HAIL Acknoledges its Volunteers in 2004

    Hockey Alberta In Line (HAIL) Acknowledges its Volunteers and Sponsors in 2004

    As pointed out in the Volunteer Development Handbook written by Johnny Misley (now with Hockey Canada) and published by the British Columbia Amateur Hockey Association in 1994, ?Recognizing your volunteers shows and organization?s appreciation for those involved and committed to contributing to the development of youth in sport.?

    Thus, a big hearty ?thank you? goes out to the following involved in the HAIL Summer Series Tournaments:

    · ?South? event, May 7-9 (hosted by Calgary/Cochrane In Line Hockey Leagues) -- Rob Baustad, Pete Campbell, and Don Lamont.

    · ?Central? event, June 4-6 (hosted by Red Deer In Line Hockey League) -- Lori Irvine, Ray Robak, Kelly Stout, and Shelley Ross.

    · ?North? event, June 19-20 (hosted by Sherwood Park In Line Hockey League) -- Colin Brown

    At the Alberta Regional Championships, July 2-4, hosted by the Red Deer Inline Hockey League the following are hereby acknowledged for their efforts: Brian Evanoff (Tournament Chairperson), Chris Goodship, Sue McBeath, Brent and Tracey Walker, Laura Warawa, Shelley Ross, Lori Irvine, Jody Dennis, Ray Robak, Tracy Leiper, and Marty Meador. Major corporate sponsor: Kentucky Fried Chicken, Red Deer, AB.

    At the Canadian National Invitational Championships, July 16-18, hosted by the Calgary Rockyview Inline Hockey League the following are deserving of recognition: Glennys Vevang (Tournament Chairperson), Bill and Cheryl Tomanik, Jim and Anita Wallace, Maureen Baustad, Jon and Kim Hammond, Judy Bakalik, Jim Stoetzel, and Sharon Kelly. Major corporate sponsors: Calgary Co-op and Boston Pizza.
