The recent homepage article "Roller Hockey Added to 2006 BC Summer Games" by Scott Hill of the British Columbia Inline Hockey Association (BCIHA) is really great news.

Inline hockey was a huge success in the 2002 and 2004 Alberta Summer Games and is scheduled again for 2006 in Red Deer, AB. Inline hockey in the Alberta Summer Games was initially introduced and continues to be coordinated by Hockey Alberta In Line (HAIL).

The fact that BCIHA and HAIL are members of the National Inline Hockey Association-Canada speaks volumes for this organization's commitment to developing the sport of inline hockey in Canada.
