How much does it cost?
Each team will be required to pay a $400.00 entry fee, which covers all rink, scorekeeper,
referee, and award expenses for the entire tournament.
How is the tournament setup?
Depending on the number of teams, we will do something similar to what we have listed below.
Again, this is subject to change depending on the number of teams but you will be contacted
with the exact details at least a week or two prior to the tournament.
4 teams ? Each team plays each other once and then they are seeded 1st through 4th place. First
place will play 4th place and 2nd place will play 3rd place in the first round of the playoffs. The losers
of each game will play each other for 3rd and 4th place and then the winners will play each other
for 1st and 2nd place.
8 teams ? There will be two brackets of teams (4 teams per bracket) and they will play each
team in their bracket once. The teams will then be seeded 1st through 4th in each bracket and will
play against the teams in the opposite bracket to battle during the playoffs.
Who will be the referees?
All referees will be certified and most of them play PRO inline hockey for various
teams in PIHA or MLRH and are great with kids.
What are the rules and regulations?
For this tournament we are going to follow USA Inline Hockey rules and regulations. All players must
be registered with USA Inline Hockey to be allowed to play.
4 on 4 play (excluding goalies)
Played with an black IDS puck
2x 15 minute periods running clock (stops last 2 mins within 2 goals)
1x 30-second timeout per team per game
What must we bring to the tournament?
Once we know that your team is definitely going to be attending the tournament, we will fax
you a roster form that you will need to print out and bring with you on the day of the tournament.
Each player must bring a copy of his/her birth USA Hockey membership information, and a photo ID.
$400.00 payable to Action Sports Center via check, credit card, or cash.
A white and dark jersey for each player.
Are any awards given out?
We will be giving out trophies to the first place team and medals to the team that comes in
second place. Awards will also be given out to a tournament MVP, MVD, MVG. A hardest shot
competition might be held midway through the tournament as well.
Stats Stats Stats?
You can request to have copies of your game score sheets copied for you to take home at
the end of the tournament. These sheets include all goals, assists, penalties, shots for, and shots against.
A Level? B Level??
Don?t worry, we know what it is like to be playing a B level tournament against A level teams.
With that said, we make every attempt to balance everything out and have run FAIR and
COMPETITIVE tournament instead of having 1-2 teams that just blow everybody else out of the water.
Pre-Tournament Schedule
All teams must confirm whether they will be playing in the tournament by September 10th at
the latest and make a $100.00 deposit. No deposit means you won?t be on the schedule ? sorry.
A tentative schedule will be sent out to all teams on September 13th.
All teams are asked to report any problems they have (if any) with the schedule by September 17th.
A final schedule will be sent out by September 20th at the latest.
Tournament will start on September 24th!
How do we contact you with any questions or to tell you that we are interested and plan to come?

information If you would like me to call you, just leave your phone number and I will get back to you ASAP.

Final Comments?
We look forward to seeing you and your team at our tournament and hopefully it will be a great success.
We have set pretty strict deadlines, but this should eliminate the normal tournament confusion and
chaos that always happens at the last minute!
