    Best Bearings?

I was wondering if anyone out there has an opinion on what the best bearings are. I play at an elite level and need a new set of bearings badly. I've had a bad experience with ceramics - but I think it was due to the fact that they weren't high quality - I ended up returning them. I don't mind spending some money - but I don't want to drop a couple of hundred bucks and then have the things not perform like they're promised.

Also, I have a set of Tour Beemers and the bearings that came with the skates move back and forth inside the wheels. I was wondering if this was normal (I hope not) - and if anybody knows if this is a problem with my wheels (I still have the ones that came with the skates) or the bearings.

    Thanks

I had the same problem with my bearings moving inside of my Dynasty wheels with wear. I tried the same bearings out in a new set of Dynastys and the problem was solved. Hopefully it doesn't happen again with my new set of wheels...

There should always be a small amount of room to move for the bearings inside the wheels based on the design tolerances of the wheel hub shoulders and the spacers. The wheel hub shoulder should always be a few thousandths narrower than the spacer.

Most likely it's just wear and tear on the wheel. An old set of outdoor wheels I had sounded like the wheels was about to come off because there was so much play in em.
