After returning from my annual horse show in Kentucky, my husband and I enjoyed the 14 hr trip so much that we have decided that we are going to go for a small driving journey. We live in NY (Long Island) and plan to drive Northwest, either through PA (Pocono area) or up towards the Albany/Buffalo direction.

We are looking to do the following: Float on a lazy river (not roaring rapids), see some caverns, and HORSE BACK RIDE. We have 4-7 days to choose from within the next 3 weeks.

If anyone knows of a great area to hit and if you know of any lazy rivers or caverns or nice places to rent/ride horses, please email me ([email protected]). We will not be going south towards Philly so please don't suggest lower Delaware River. We are also making this a hockey-free trip so sorry but no visiting any rinks or reffing
