Rediculous
Impress who? No need to impress, I have my own style of play that no one wants these days. People always want a good team player. I rember Don Cherry saying to shoot the puck, why dont teams want a scorer? This is absolutley brutal. Im a goal scorer, and scouts would be happy to see what I can do

Re: Rediculous
I realize you want to take your game to the next level, but in this sport, if you haven't already realized it yet, if you want to get somewhere, you have to do it yourself. Nobody is going to travel to Canada from the States just to look at you, there is no money for that. I agree with the other guy.......play NARCh, play TORHS, play USARS, try-out for teams. Start researching! I was always told by my dad, if you want something bad enough, go get it. If you really are as good as you brag about, then you shouldn't have a problem. Start contacting teams, but no one is going to come look at you, especially after all of these posts, they don't want some hot shot that thinks he all that. They want a good all around player with a good attitude. Good luck!

Re: Rediculous
this is ridiculous.....your not going gain recognition in inline hockey by saying all of this on inline hockey central....i don't know what kind of advice to give you besides putting on a couple thousand miles on your car in a year in order to show your skills at tournaments in the states....im sorry to hear your love for inline hockey while living so far away...keep at it
you must also realize that scouts in roller hockey don't exist...the only type of 'scout' you might encounter will be you traveling to an arena where you know a coach or GM of a big team will be working or making an appearance and just hope he is watching the hockey on the rink and becomes slightly interested in you

Re: Rediculous
You wanna get noticed..... move to an area, become a rink rat, make friends with the director, that's the fastest way to catch on somewhere... they can get you on travel teams and recommend you to teams/people in higher level teams/leagues but, honestly.... it doesn't go that "high" no matter who you are, especially if you have that cocky attitude, believe me, lose it quick before you gain a ton of haters kid!

Re: Rediculous
I've been in your situation. From what you say, you're a competitor and you just want to see better competition and really prove yourself. Totally understandable. BUT, in roller hockey there are very few "scouts", in fact I've never once heard of them for roller hockey, ice hockey yes, roller...no. I would start contacting colleges or universities, where ever, or whatever you want to do. Ask to come watch the college team play a game, or ask to have a skate around with some of the players on the team. Also, I've seen the stats you posted and such. I have a couple of questions about some of your other stats. How many shots do you block per game? How many pats on the back did you give your goalie after a great save? How compliments did you dish out during your last game? When was the last time you gave out more assists than goals in a game?
Scoring goals is only 1% of what goes on during a hockey game. I would suggest concentrating on the other 99% of your game and then start contacting teams, or send them video tape of yourself...Just my thoughts
