Saving a Life
At the final game of the spring season, one of the member of our 45 and over league suffer a near fatal heart arrythmia during the game. Luckly the player at the game had the ability to operate the automatic defibulator at the rink saving this mans life. A big thumbs up to all that pitched in to help. Re: Saving a Life
Its sad when you hear about incidents like this, but you can only say thank g-d that somebody was trained. I know at our rink we are fortunate enough to have multiple people with CPR training. We also have the benefit of having a few of our referees are local cops. Bravo to the gentleman who helped save the life and a wish of a speedy recovery to the player.
