    Re: MLRH AAA

    Yo,

Well, I'm not a spokesperson for the MLRH or anything, but until someone comes out with something similar, where else is there to play? What other choices do we have? If you don't want to watch, don't. If you don't want to play, don't. No one is forcing you.

Most of the players in MLRH already play on NARCh or similar teams and so MLRH is providing at least decent compeition to play against on a weekly basis between tournaments. I don't play a tournament again until June, what else is there to do?

From what I hear about competition, it all just depends on where you go to play/watch. Some games are close, others are blowouts.

Eventually, roller hockey will rise up to where it was 5 years ago in terms of professional play. However for now, I think we just need to make with what we have.

While MLRH-AAA has it's problems, it is the only league around, and it has a good chance to last a long time until one of the "real professional leagues" like MLRH or RHI come back. MLRH-AAA is actually a smart idea, since you still have your pro players like CJ Yoder to attract audiences, and local area players from the hometown...all while not paying them anything. And like every league, you have your good teams, and not-so-good teams. You have to realize that hockey in the south will never be as good as hockey in the north, hence the huge disparity in some of the MLRH-AAA scores.

    Minh,

Never say never. The Dallas Stars have won the Stanley Cup once, if I remember correctly

Hockey's growth in the South (both ice and inline) has been nothing short of AMAZING, if you ask me.
