has anyone ever ordered from 1-800faceoff.com? thier website is a bit infuriating as it's very slow and then sometimes you choose a size and wait, only to find out they don't have it. in fact after doing this with 4 pairs of ice skates for my san, i just went to another site to order them because i couldn't take it anymore. they seem to have decent prices though and a pretty good selection, especially for the little guys. i just had a bad experience online with the skates. any praise or horror stories about them?

e-puck just called me and said your check is in the mail.

i've bought most of the kids' stuff through e-puck. i know thay are the best. i'm at thier site at least once a day checking out the sales and seeing if they have anything new. and if they have what i need, i'll always buy from them, but every now and again i find something that they don't have. if there is one problem with e-puck, it's that they don't have the widest selection on some things. especially for the tiny guys. i have a 4 year old who insists on playing ice hockey. he tells his brother who plays roller, "i'm going to play REAL hockey". of course he also calls figure skating "girl hockey", even though he knows girls who play. on tiny gear for him, e-puck seems to only have on or two choices on everything so i tend to look around.

I do not recommend ordering from them. I ordered about 20 jerseys for my team from them and they took forever to arrive, even though I payed for 3 day shipping. After about two weeks of not hearing anything, I called them and the guy told me they were on back order and the company still hadn't sent them to 18800faceoff. I asked him to send them 2 day shipping ASAP, but he said he would have to charge me for the extra shipping. This really p*ssed me off because I ended up not getting my jerseys until 4 games into our season.
My brother, though, ordered a girdle from them on a seperate occasion, and the transaction went pretty well. The girdle arrived in about a week.
