The old Tour Fishbones?

I currently have Fishbones, but they are ready to die, I wouldn't mind getting another pair, but can not find anywhere online that still sells them, does anyone know where I could possibly pick up a pair? Also does anyone have an opinion or know someone that has the new Beemers? I am skeptical that getting eight 80mm wheels isn't going to decrease quickness and manuverability, and I am realy use to the Hi-Lo setup, are these skates going to have the same feel? Thanks.

The same exact thing happened to me this season. I loved my Tour Fishbones, but they were dead and was uncertain whether I would like the new Tour skates. I eventually decided on the CCM Externo Outcast.

Try calling the old Coliseum in Voorhees. They have a big selection of the older skates. I do recall the fishbone skates.

I definitely prefer Tours, but for me they are the next best thing for a good skate and comfortable fit.

Go with the Beemers....I have been using them for some time now and the 80mm wheels are amazing. Definitely gained speed with the new frames. The boot is very comfortable as well. If you have any questions about them e mail me.

The Beemer's fit very similar, if not better than the Fishbone. They are very comfortable. The main feature of the Beemer is the new Labeda Humer frame. For years Labeda has led the way in frame technology. The new Humer big wheel system is there latest frame. Basicly there system allows for larger wheels without raising the center of gravity, the front two wheels (80mm) are recessed into the sole of the boot. Most players notice the speed and grip advantages. Some of the features are similar to the Labeda Sensor, the Sensor has a 76mm toe wheel, which improves your power stroke, more urethane, more grip. The new Labeda Humer has all this and more.

I spoke to a Tour rep today. He said the new Beemer is based on the Fishbone model and the Blue Max on the 962.
