Inline Sticks?

This has been a question that has been on my mind for months. What is the best inline hockey stick? I mean, do you use an ice hockey stick. I use the Bauer Bure but is it right? Do i go w/ a street hockey stick? How about the blade? Wood or plastic? Thanx to all who help me out here.

Most inline players in my league use ice hockey equpiment
but, it also depends on the surface ur playing on, we play on a smooth tile surface, so ice hockey sticks and blades work great. I have used that Bauer stick, but I'd much rather use a composite shaft with a ice hockey blade (montreal m95 is a really good blade). Perani's sells cosmetic blem shafts for under 50 dollars, go check them out.

Almost 98% of the time I would say that everyone I have seen or played with uses an ice hockey stick. If you are willing to go the extra mile get a composite shaft with a good blade. However, I absolutely can't stand plastic street blades or shafts. They are too flimsy IMO and they just don't hold up as well. Hope this helps.

Plastic???? Never, ever, ever, ever, use a plastic blade for inline--even if it's played with a ball, a wooden, or composite blade is better. As far as sticks are concerned I highly recommend Montreal blades/sticks. They're of high quality, don't cost an 'arm and a leg' and are really responsive. Hope this helped.

You definitely want a wood/graphite blade. I don't recommend ice blades if the surface isn't a sport type court. Ice blades won't last a week on concrete or asphalt. There are a ton of shafts to choose from, its just depends on how much you want to spend. Jofa makes a great blade and mission, easton, louisville and synergy for shafts are my preference. I love the new "rubber" from Louisville.
