Scoring Scam???

Well 2 weeks ago going into the final day of regular season play we all but had our leagues leading scorer set... Johnny P., no wait it turns out that CJ was given 10 points in a 10-7 win over the wolves, hmm wierd, since i was at the game i can tell you he had no more then 4 or 5, they put assists on un assisted goals and second assists where they did not belong, dont get me wrong he is the premier player in the league, but that's bull, half the points he wasn;t even on the rink for, Marple you are 14-0 that's not enough spot light.... something should bedone with the scorers of the games, they should be MLRH officials, b/cwho knows how many other games this has happened in...

not to start any trouble, as marple is LOADED with talent.... but I've always thought that sometimes their points were balloned a bit....

Point the finger in the right direction because when you say Marple you are referring to all of us. In the future be more specific because if that happened I had nothing to do with it and I am part of "Marple". Im sure the rest of the guys on our team wouldnt want you to say they were involved either. Do I get on here and say all MLRH fans are idiots?

well i say marple because the score keepers themselves would probably not know how many points he needed by themselves without being told from someone a little higher up onthe food chain, you can call all MLRH fans idiots, most of us are with too many opinions, deal with it... as for the situation at hand, no one has denied it yet including yourself... why scam johnny p out of the scoring title?? the league needs to look into the whole "marple" situation, remember you are a team, that includes managment and staff, you win together, you lose together, you go through this stuff together, so being that it happened in your rink the finger gets pointed towards all of you, as you are one organization...

Scoresheets-my favorite complaint! Can't blame the person who just reads what they see and puts it in the system. Refs sign it, coaches are supposed to sign it, and I would think it's not just to have their signature on it. It's to look it over and sign off on it making it a valid document. I believe that MLRH is looking into having scorekeepers as league officials and having them go to classes or be certified. Makes everyone more accountable for the recording of what happens during games. I still think Jamie had a good idea with NARHL in having picture ids for the players. If you don't match the picture then you don't play. It would make signing a new player a little time comsuming, not to mention the expense because they'd have to be "tamper proof". A whole new ball of wax!

MLRHfan was not at the game or he would know that we were down by three at the start of the fourth and I made CJ play almost the entire fourth quarter. The scoring title means nothing to Marple or Cj. Cj is who he is and he doesn't care about that. MLRH fan the game tape is here for you to view or any one else to view. Don't hide behind a false screen name and make false accusations. If you would like to view the tape please call Jamie and I will arrange for you to come down and see it.
Ps> I guess we had Pottstown fudge the scoresheet the night before also. And the rest of the road game points were they false also?

I agree. CJ has nothing to prove to anyone. This might appear to be a problem because so many teams do not record 2nd assists (I don't even believe there's a column on the scoresheet) so when a team does, it looks like they're padding stats. Second assists should be recorded.

give me a break. take jamie up on his offer to view the tape and you will see. i would know, i was on the receiving end of a couple of those points.

ya, pretty sure that's where the descrepancy comes from.

All the rinks should keep track of stats the same, as to avoid anyone looking like they are padding the stats.

this is not jamie. lets just say i am a big part of this conversation. after mlrh cleans things up and has no huge problems for a full season this is what people, fans, player want to talk about? can we talk about the great games, the great players and the great matchups that are going on in the playoffs.
if we need to take a couple points from this yoder character then take them. congratulations john and good luck in the playoffs

i agree with you, i dont think the scoring title means anything to CJ, however i do think that it means something to marple, bottom line is i was there, you can't tell me where i was or was not.
