    Mission D-1 or D-2?

    How big of a diffrence are these two skates?...Is the D-2 a quality skate or are the D-1's that much better than the D-2's? Does anyone know when new skates are due up to hit the market?

    new models should be out already. D-2 is definitely a good skate. Main differences are solely in boot construction.

    Another difference would be the D1 chassis is 7000 series aluminum while the D2 chassis is 6000 series aluminum.

    Rollerhockey.com which is the same company as hockeygiant has last year's DI's online for $199 with 5% off online orders. if you know your size, that's a pretty good steel.
