    Collegiate Inline Hockey Invades Spring, Texas
    For Block Alternative All-Star Weekend!

    Lewisville ? The Southwest Collegiate Hockey League will host its annual All Star weekend in Spring, Texas on February 7-8, 2004. The game and skills competition sponsored by Block Alternatives will feature 30 of the top players in the Southwest from Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana.

    The skills competition will kick things off at 5:00pm on February 7th, followed by the game at 7:30pm. The skills competition will consist of fastest skater, hardest shot, stick handling, shot accuracy, best goalie, and the annual goalie race.

    We are also excited to announce that all games that weekend including the All Star event will be available for viewing live on the internet. Glowstream, an online video streaming company which specializes in on-demand webcasting will be broadcasting live on www.schl.org starting at 8:00am until 9:00pm each day. Viewing of each game is available with your free enrollment of a Zone! Account at the SCHL website.     Sounds good! I have never seen any college games in your neck of the woods so it will be nice to see who's hot and cold in your region.

    It's too bad logistics prevent a national All Star game of sorts. That would be cool too!

    Lewisville ? This is the weekend we?ve all been waiting for. The excitement is building as the Southwest Collegiate Hockey League is heading to Spring, Texas for its annual All Star weekend.

    Regular season games will be running all day Saturday and Sunday with the All Star game and skills competition starting at 5:00pm Saturday. But the All Star match won?t be the only high caliber game as things will definitely be heating up on the rink as the playoffs are approaching and the teams battle for positions.

    Can?t make it to the rink, no problem.
