Get Well Soon Mooers

Bobby Mooers, #74 for the Sting of MLRH, went down yesterday with an elbow injury. He will be out for awhile. Mooers comes to play every game and practice, and gives 110% every shift. He is always willing to do whatever it takes to help the team, and was really coming on. Get well soon Bobby - don't worry - you have many years of great hockey yet to play!

Yes it was a very unfortunate accident, and not the result of any cheap shot...I hope he recovers well as it sure looked ugly I was told.

Bobby, from the Growl organization down the line, including myself, hope you get better soon. Knowing you and your recovery time, you will be back by February. Did you guys win or no?

Bob suffered a dislocation of the elbow after becoming entangled along the boards with a few players and falling straight down onto it. Estimated time for recovery is 6-8 weeks, but then there's going to be rehab stuff as well I'm sure. The Sting won yesterday 10-6, splitting the weekend series with the Firebirds.

thanks guys. as Naz said, dislocated right elbow.... pretty much ends my season. extremely dissapointed about it, but it could have been worse I guess.

I'll be back on skates soon enough....

Now I just have to get used to wiping with my left hand lol

Thanks again though guys, I appreciate it.

Considering your track record with the ladies, I wouldn't be as much concerned with wiping!

Hey Bobby Wishing you a speedy recovery although we all know that were getting older here and sometimes things like this take a little longer. I know that you hate missing the end of your MLRH season but hey think of this way. a small vacation (painful) but you'll be ready to play PIHA just about at the beginning of the season. Good luck and hey the word is ambidextrous. Should of know how to wipe with the other hand anyway.

No complaints here. It was a good hard fought two games and it's hockey; my face has seen a lot worse days
