ATLANTA, Georgia ? The Tournament of Roller Hockey Series is ready for this years Winter Cup which will take place in Feasterville, PA, just outside Philadelphia.
This year will mark the second year in which the Winter Cup will be held in the city of brotherly love. The venue will not change from the Sportsplex, which is where the tournament was held last year. The gorgeous three-rink facility offers plenty of seating and viewing areas for fans along with locker rooms and concessions.
Various malls and numerous hotels within close proximity to the rink populate the area. A complete list of host hotels is available online at www.torhs.com.
The tournament will be held January 2-4, 2004 there will be Division I and Division II. Teams must register online for the event by going to www.torhs.com. The cost per team to enter the event is $575.00 and that will include player of the game awards at the conclusion of every game and also medals for first and second place. Trophies will also be awarded to teams finishing in first and second and MVP, MVG, and MVD presentations will take place for each division.
The Winter Cup will also be featuring the Rink Rat / TORHS PRO Series with teams from California to Massachusetts.
The Winter Cup Finals will also host a players clinic with the PROS will take place at this event. Players will be able to sign up for the Peak Performance Clinic which will be held Friday, Jan 2nd, 6:00 pm ? 7:30 pm and Saturday, Jan 3rd 9:00 am ? 10:30 am. Each participant will receive Rink Rat Wheels, Camp Jersey, Shooting Techniques, Goal Scoring Tips, Body Positioning and much more!
Like last years event the 2004 Winter Cup will serve as one of the true kickoffs for the 2004 roller hockey series, which TORHS America has numerous regionals in. They have expanded farther West this year with qualifiers in Denver, CO and Northern and Southern, California.

Teams qualifying at regionals after the Winter Cup will be qualifying for the TORHS Nationals set to be held in Detroit, MI at the Taylor Sportsplex July 1-7, 2004.
