Storm blasts NJ
not the team...but the weather!
The big Northeaster that is hitting the east coast has caused us to postpone our game with the NJ Bullets. Both teams have agreed the following:
1) cancel tomorrow's game in Boston.
2) move the Sat., January 24th game (bullets vs. boston) to Boston. This game was scheduled to be played in NJ.
3) schedule a new game on Sun., Feb 8th (bullets vs boston) in NJ.
Thanks to the Steve (league commish) and Adam (Bullets Owner) for helping make this change. From the looks of the storm...it would have been a horrible trip for the Bullets and about 2 feet of snow at our rink in Tewksbury (prob. would not have had a big crowd for our game opener at our new rink).
I hope the other teams this weekend find a way to get their games in!! Looks nasty out there!

and it is!! ECRHA has a double event, 29 games in Rahway at Center Circle and 26 games at Inman's in Edison. From the eastern part of Long Island, it took me 6.5 hours to go 90 miles.
This event is not cancelled but anyone feeling uncomfortable with the weather conditions was advised not to attend. 52 more games to go.

I live 1/2 a mile from an ice hockey rink. All games for this weekend were canceled friday night due to the weekend storm.
