It will not effect the warranty, or the strength/balance so much as the flex. Depending on how much you want to cut it down, the stick will effectively get "stiffer" the shorter you make it. I would recommend a flexible a stick as you can find, if you are going to cut it down. I found the Vector's to be a pretty stiff stick to start with based on their comparitive flex ratings, so get as high a flex rating as you can (lower numerical rating)

Just had a player on one of the MLRH teams having trouble with his shot untill I let him use a more flexible version..he already had an 85 but it was cut too about 1' shorter than stock and I could hear how stiff it was when he took a shot...........yes I said "hear"..........he couldn't believe the difference in his shot with a more flexible version of the same stick.

good point... forgot to mention..... every inch you cut down, adds *roughly* 4% of stiffness to your stick.

so a 100 flex cut 2" is more like a 108 flex... etc

emm well i dunno wat flex this stick is to start wit it jus says on the side of it regular flex. but if thats the case i may jus leave it as it is because i dont have a particularly brilliant shot as it is n i dont want to mess wit the flex. cheers
