The Glads defeated the Snipers 10-6. CJ Yoder (5g,2a) and Ed Smith (2g,5a) led the way for an undermanned Marple squad. Andrew Christiano also had two goals and Mike Roman had the other. Kevin Spain tallied a hat trick for the Snipers. Brian Fleury, Jason Jaworski, and Dave Young scored as well. The first half was very tight and always close. It was 1-1 after the first period and 5-4 Glads at half. An apparent Snipers goal just before the half was wiped after a huddle by the officials. During a Steel City powerplay midway through the third period the Glads scored two shorthanded goals and took control. The period ended with the Glads up 9-5. Even fourth period at one goal a piece. Decent game. Mostly skating and good goaltending. One minor fight towards the end.
