    Sticks and Confidence

    Hi

Need some advice on sticks. I am currently using a Stiff Franklin 80 something Graphite and find that while I can use it I permanently bend the shaft so it looks like a banana now.

I play forward and am 6-4 and about 105 kilograms.

Any suggestions regarding what stick I should look at using?

    Hi,
Try the Easton Z Bubbles. or the Synergy's they are a little expensive but I have been using them for a while and have not broken one yet. I used to use the Cyclones and I was breaking a shaft a week. But now I am using the Z bubble and Synergy's and they are awesome. THey have a great whip to them and they have a great flex also. Let me know if you try them what you think..

i have to recommend either an easton grip lite or louisville tri-core. both are great, reliable sticks. however they are in the $75-110 range most places.

While the other posters are correct when they say you won't break those easton shafts, as big as you are you will wear them out for sure, try one of the Montreal higher end wooden sticks.

Not sure about the branches wooden sticks, i've tried just about every graphite, carbon, or wierd composite out there. With a graphite or a composite it doesn't matter what you buy it'll eventually wear out. The only one i'm not sure of is the bush balance, i can't bring myself to buy one because i'm sure i'll either leave it at the rink or shut it in the car door. if you've got the cash give that stick a shot
