    Message board format

I have not liked the format of this board since it changed and that is a big reason why I haven't posted in a LONG time ( the demise of the RHI is another big reason ). Check out the format of the Cincinnati Reds' message board at: http://talk.cincinnati.com/cgi-bin/u...=10&LastLogin=

I hate the Reds because I am a big Cardinals fan, but I went to their board to talk a lot of smack about the Reds being in second place, eating the Redbirds' dust. Also, check out the Cards Talk forum at postnet.com. You might like that setup too.

    Re: Message board format

    Hello,

Again, to reiterate my reply to a previous poster about a week ago, I feel this board software has more functionality and customizable features than any other board out there. I am pretty familiar with all major messageboard scripts and I feel WWWThreads serves the purpose better than any.

With one click of my mouse, my screen now pretty much looks like the Cincinatti site you directed me to. Check out what I mean here:

    <A HREF="http://www.inlinehockeycentral.com/cgi-bin/board/postlist.pl?Cat=&Board=Inline&page=0&view=collapse d&sb=5" target="_new">http://www.inlinehockeycentral.com/c...collapsed&sb=5</A>

I hope this is what you were looking for. All I did was click on the '-Collapse' button in the menu bar on the Main Index screen. Try fooling around with some of the buttons and options found on the screens and I bet you can come up with an ideal configuration. Also check out the 'Edit Profile' link at the top of the screen for more customization options.

    Deal With It :)

    Hi Michael,

Put yourself in my shoes. This new Message Board has cut down on spam and personal attacks about 10,000 percent in the past few months, saving me countless hours of babysitting and scores of headaches.

Sure, it's less active, but most posts are worth reading, unlike SOME message boards I've checked out lately. Justin did a great job in researching different message boards, and there are so many ways for readers to configure this board that I have to wonder if some of IHC's readers are just too damn lazy

By the way, there's a new poll on the Home Page... Hope it's not too difficult for ya...

    Sincerely,
