    Mission D1 skates

Can someone please post the major differences between the 2003 Mission D1 skates and the 2004 D1c's?

I would like to know this too, since i will be looking for new skates shortly. Specifically I am curious how the new D1's compare to the D Limiteds from 03.

    Thanks in advance..

The have a newer chassis... better one at that! The ankle construction resembles more of a Pure Fly or D-Limited. I think but dont quote mo on this, they are less stiff in the ankle region, and they have a slighly diffrent look...

When you say you have a newer chassis, do you mean you have the D1-C's?

I believe that the d1-c's are basically the same as last years d limiteds only more readly available and alot cheaper. The chassis is more like a Sensor chassis without the 76mm wheel in the front. The d1-c's are lighter then the d1's and the d limited's. The d1-c's have abec 9 bearings whereas the D1's have 7's. The D1-c's have some new stuff invovling ankle pockets which are pretty cool. Other then that their not that different. I tryed on the D1's, D1 Limiteds, and the D1-c's (one of the perk's of working at a hockey store) and i liked the d1-c's the best. They all fit really nice but the later felt the best and once i get a pair and mold 'em they'll feel awesome. Mission really stepped up their skates in the comfort department in '03 and '04.
