Labeda Millennium's?

does any one have anything on these wheels? i'm gonna be buying some skates that come with them and was wondering how good of a wheel they were and how long they last.

For their price they are pretty hard to beat. If you play on sportcourt or other indoor surfaces you should be fine. I have a set that I used just to skate outside a couple time (I did find them in the trash) but they chunked heavily.

I'd keep em on sportcourt... A couple sets I tried did just fine there but on a polished concrete with a latex paint they chunked up on me.

Yes milleniums tend to be fairly fragile on any grippy surface like wood, or in some cases latex painted concrete...although our local version of this type of floor is notoriously not "grippy".......it may need a new resurfacing after 8 years lol. Actually the milleniums do not work well on this floor........come to think of it, not much does.

I have milleniums and have no problems. I have used both soft and x-soft.

Sorry if I sound a bit of a newbie but what's the logic/science behind putting the x-soft in front and soft in the back? Thanks

The x-soft on the front helps with take offs. Soft wheels tend to slip on me when I try to doa fast push. The soft wheels on the back give a little more than x-soft when doing hockey stops. Is there a huge difference? I don't think so, but I do know the x-softs on the front help with my take offs.

This was suggested to try by Labeda themselves.
