TORHS America adds New Division and makes adjustme
TORHS America adds New Division and makes adjustments/
Winter Cup Finals to include Division I and Division II teams
The season has come to a close, and TORHS America has reviewed some of the changes implemented prior to the 2003 season. The biggest change last season, was the Bantam Division. After experiencing the tremendous talent in the Bantam division, TORHS recognizes that there is a great need to add a new division, for the 15 and 16 year olds and the 17 and 18 year olds to experience a competitive division within there own age. TORHS America announces the following changes in the divisions for the upcoming 2004 season:
The Bantam division will now be 16 and under age division and TORHS has added an 18 and under age division, the Midget Division. And the Junior Division has been changed to 21 and under age division, as well.
TORHS America Age Divisions:
Tyke (6 and under)
Atom (8 and under)
Mite (10 and under)
Squirt (12 and under)
Peewee (14 and under)
Bantam (16 and under)
Midget (18 and under)
Junior (21 and under)
Adult
Senior (30+)
Women
PRO
TORHS believes that with these divisions it will allow each division an even playing field for all kids from 6 and under thru 21 and under, leading to Adult and ultimately the ?TORHS PRO Series?.
TORHS America would also like to announce that the Winter Cup Finals held in January, 2004 will also include Division II, this season. The regional qualifiers held from October, 2003 ? December, 2003, for the summer nationals, will also qualify the Division II teams for the Winter Cup Finals. Division I teams for the Winter Cup Finals are open to all teams, in each age division, as in the previous years. The Winter Cup Finals will be for the 2004 season, cut off age: December 31, 2003.
More information regarding the Winter Cup Finals, will be announced within a few weeks.
