A lot of the girls from both teams play ice hockey as well. Canadian Isabelle Chartrand was on Canada's 2002 Olympic Gold Medal hockey team in SLC. Brown, Dossier, Turek, and Rourke play in the National Women's Hockey League (www.nwhlhockey.com) here in Canada. Deveraux (Wisconsin Badgers) and Del Monte-Marchese both play US college hockey.

From Team USA Chanda Gunn (Northeastern University) and Kerry Weiland (University of Wisconsin Badgers) were both named to the US National Women's Ice Hockey team that was to compete at the IIHF World Championships in Beijing before they got cancelled. So it is nice to see them play on a winning team. Barbara Gordon tried out for the American team as well in the past and Joy Woog and Carisa Zaban are also former members of the US National Women's Ice Hockey team. Woog is also the coach at Northeastern University, I think.
