ABOUT THE POINT MISSING
After reading everything on the site, the one thing that really stuck out, was the post about "how if the owners, and managers could get along, the league would take off", I totally disagree thats the problem. Of course everyone is going to have opposing opinions on the league, but it's because everyone wants the same damn goal, to make the league better than it is. I have watched MLRH from the Dan Delaney days, hence being in the the first ever MLRH CAMP, and where it's come from/to is actually quite remarkable. For any league to advance, you have to have a fan base, and you have to have some sponsors. I'm not trying to knock anyone, but MLRH with the exception of some owners has done a whole lot to advertise the League. I mean yes, there is advertisements, but I would think if you want something to succeed, then u Advertise your ass off. I don't think MLRH has succeeded in that respect at all. You can't blame the owners either. They do what they can for their team, and the league, and not everyone can afford to lose money every season and keep owning the team, at the same point, not everyone has the capital to own a team, and fly them out to Cali, Colorado, and or bus them to destinations. So I understand some teams problem, but at the same point, I think when you get a semi decent crowd and the visiting team either doesn't show up, or the owner has to call players in the area to fill in, I think u have a problem.
There is not one single problem with MLRH, there is a lot of things going on in the mix that create bs, and hopefully things can and will be worked out. So don't blame the owners for anything because if not for them, this league wouldn't have gained the respect it has.
So my wish list is this:
A player rule, that states a player has to play so many games, in order to be allowed in the playoffs.
Absolutely no added players, unless you need an emergency goalie, once the playoffs begin.
3. I think every team needs to pay a grand or so extra, so that if they dont show for a game, they get fined, and half the fine goes to the league, and half to the rink, for selling tickets to a game that doesn't happen.
Hence throwing a team out of the league does nothing but create a ****storm of bs.
Keep MLRH unique, keep the rules the same every year.
Train officals, for once.
My wish list is more in hopes that MLRH will get back on track, seems of late with rumours and stuff, that things aren't so well, but in the end I believe things will go well.
In final, let me say that I think MLRH could be better, but it's like a child, you have to slowly nurture it, until it becomes grown up and ready to do things for itself. TO be taken seriously u have to have a league office that can and will run things, with none of this bs that seems to happen every year. Not knocking them, because they have a hard job, but lets face it, your league is only as good as it is run in the big office. So I hope MLRH stays around, and every year it seems to get better in some way or another.

Re: ABOUT THE POINT MISSING
Last time I checked, there was a rule about playing in so many games to be allowed in the playoffs.
Regarding the training of officials, it was talked about last summer. The problem was having to offer to pay the officials for their time to come to train.

Re: ABOUT THE POINT MISSING
It is my understanding that Summerfest will also be training clinics for refs. Both classroom and on court sessions.
