    lol........

As for the games, Scrappers beat the beast minors 4-3 in a rough, penalty-filled game....... Beast beat the Growl 7-1. Denton had a hat trick and JD Davidson has 1g 4a I believe........ score was 2-0 at the half, but the Beast started to roll late.......

He's only playing for the Revolution at Marple - the age thing has limited his umm.... exposure - in PIHA. If you mean this weekend, Marple doesn't play. His next game isn't until Wed. June 18

nah I was just wondering if he was going to play in the minors all-star game, but I had heard he had work sunday?

Kinda sucks about the whole age thing, I'm sure he'd be on the Grenades....

Um, Bob, myself and you would be given ample opportunity to be on the Grenades pro team, As would some others from our scrapper team. Truth is, would you really want to leave the top of the standings to go to the bottom of them? Lets face it, I for one, want to be on a winner. And if one of your teammates names isn't yoder, you are not winning this piha championship ( see labeda and tour). Sure, would I like to be considered a pro player, but, I will live it up with my fellow scrubs from the Scrappers . Peace,
And I did have a an 86mph slap shot in the skills comp, even I was shocked.

So let me get this straight Dave, you would rather play in the minors with a winner than try your hand at the "PRO" team. To me thats like if I went to play in the C division in Marple's house league so I could win a goalie trophy. You only get better by playing at a higher level. Not knocking you on this but it just seems a little odd to me. Also if I were a Scrapper I wouldnt appreciate the scrub comment much even though I know its a joke.

Its just not fun unless you stand in front of it!

well before the age thing was made firm, he was on the Grenade. Unfortuneately he didn't hear about the all star game in time to rearrange his work schedule - he needs about a weeks advance notice to get off. Somehow we must have missed the briefing.

Hey yokes, thing is, it would not guarantee me a spot on the gladiators, now would it? Talking to Jamie, I think he could arrange for me, to sign me for a few select games ( wink wink bee boys). If the Grenades wanted myself or Bobby, they know how to get it done. It is as simple as talking to Mr. Flynn or anyone else who is an owner of the growl. I am signed for this season, and can't just pick and choose my teams ( see open game tryouts for name players). I agree about the getting better part, but I can't turn back the clock. If I did, wouldn't I have went for the hot high school chick who wanted me at the prom? Read into that little joke and yes, the clock did read 86 mph . Later boys,
    Dave

I think you are looking at this all wrong, no it doesnt guarantee you a spot on the Glads, but last time I checked this league wasnt used as a tryout for the Glads or anybody else in MLRH. I really dont think Jamie is going out and looking for players so if you where interested it may behoove you to take the ball in your court.
