TORHS NATIONALS WEEKS AWAY

NEW YORK, New York ? It?s amazing how the time flies when you are having fun.

But in just a matter of weeks all of that fun, and hard work, will culminate into something that requires both of those elements to operate on all cylinders in order for success. That?s right, the TORHS America Nationals is but weeks away further upstate in Rochester, NY at the ESL Center.

The facility is simply remarkable and the tournament will far exceed that verb with the competition and events planned from July 10-16. Right now on TORHS.com is all the information you will need in preparation for the Nationals. Everything from hotel information to tournament block scheduling and entry forms, as well as waivers, rosters, and information on the location itself. TORHS has three weeks left in its jammed pack regional schedule. Chicago, Atlanta, and a final stop in Hockeytown will bring a rip roaring past few months to a close.

The TORHS staff, as are you, is thrilled and anxious with anticipation over what?s to come in July. This years Nationals promises to be one of our best yet with all the things you have come to love and symbolize us with. But with a new year come new changes and features, additions that we are very excited to tell you about.

Innovation and therefore information will be what drives many of us into this years Nationals. As we have had all year long, expect up to second stats and standing brought to you live to our web site via Playmaker. In addition to that check our web site nightly during the nationals for a summation of the day and my view on the events that took place, including any interesting highlights that may have occurred in the course of the days play. In order for information to be successful it?s important for you to help us get it. So if you see or hear something news worthy, let us know. We also hope to focus in on some teams for special features throughout the seven days and we hope you enjoy reading and learning about their organizations and what they did to get to Rochester.

Perhaps the most exciting event to take place at the Nationals will be the SpiderCourt/TORHS PRO Series Championship, which will be worth $50,000.00. The PROS have been battling it out all year long and have already collected $25,000.00 in prize money. With that much money on the line, the games promise to be as hard hitting and as action packed as any roller hockey game ever. Many teams are shaping up to contend for the PRO series and it will be interesting to watch it play out.

Our special events day will continue to be, as you have always known it. A great raffle, dazzling opening ceremony, and All-star competition from across the country in our own All TORHS Team games. We may also have a few other tricks up our sleeves for you as well. All I will say is this?American Idol, Singing Ref, and a certain someone in a tux.

As in years past, you all have made this a wonderful year for us and we are ecstatic to see you all at the Nationals competing for the title of TORHS America National Champion. There are so many skilled teams in all the age divisions from across the country and it will be thrilling to see you all come together in one arena.
