    Mission RPM's , RTx and tour 962's ???

I was looking at the 2002 model mission rpm and RTx skates ... They are at a pretty good price on hockey monkey.com ... Are they any good ? I have a set of 99 or 00 proto v's and i am just lookin for something a bit more Confey and maybe a lil lighter and just an overall better skate .. Also how good are the tour 962's . Which skate out of these 3 would you consider the best and how much better are they then my old skates ?

    thanks

    thanks

Get the Tour 962's they will be better than your Proto V's by a lot. The reason I am going against Mission is because the Vibe chassis is terrible, that is why they are so cheap, stay away. Get 2003 missions, not 2002, trust me.

Ok, I went out and bought the Mission RPM's a few months back now. Not knowing that alot of people don't like them. I'm new to organized hockey, so I wasn't really aware. I've heard that I can get a conversion kit to get rid of the vibe shock do-dad. Is the only reason people don't like the chassis on this skate? What else about the skate should I be aware of.

I've found that the vibe makes it a bit mushy when cornering, but does seem give a snappy stop because of it. I guess I'm just trying find out how big of a mistake I've made.

    Thanks,
    NJ

The Vibe is terrible, I used them twice in a high end tourney, and had never been more dissatisfied with a pair of skates. I removed the chassis and sold them on ebay. But I think you can get kits to remove them from epuck.
