    Re: Calling All Refs!!

I would say that both refs would have to discuss and then determine that goal would be called back. Because the Home team had the penalty and if he was controlling the puck, goal would have to be...
  2. Re: AIHL Vegas Annual Meeting and restructuring

lang92 - I agree with you those rivalries should stay especially the Grizzlies vs Surge. I was the one that started the Morristown Minutemen back in 2003 and Chris Havelock and others have done a...
  3. Re: AIHL Vegas Annual Meeting and restructuring

Great idea on not allowing teams to jump leagues who still owe. Also may be you guys should think about not allowing players who get kicked out of a league to go play in another.
  4. Re: AIHL Vegas Annual Meeting and restructuring

Well put Zuba. Good luck with the season this year. Ants deserve to have a great season.
  5. Re: AIHL Vegas Annual Meeting and restructuring

Interesting topic. They are the most northern team in the Mid Atlantic division and maybe they are trying to help the NE division out. How do you know that the Surge were never asked?

Re: World Roller Hockey League (video)

    Sinister Soup,

The skates back then were awful. The boots are not of the quality we have today and the wheels were probably for concrete and not sport court.

    AIHL Teams

Just wondering who are the Athletics and what happened to the Swamp Rats and Swamp Donkeys? Been out of the loop for awhile.

    Re: AIHL Changes....

Flynn good post. I also agree that more festivals in not where the league wants to be heading. As much as festivals cut down on traveling it really does not help build the sport. Only a few rinks...

Zuba best of luck to the team this year. Your organization is certainly heading in the right direction.

    Re: AIHL Changes....

Great topic, nice to see peoples perspective and no name calling. As far as fans go, the key is the players. Each organization has about 30 players, if each player brings 3-5 fans a game, that is...

    Re: AIHL Changes....

Definitely see your point or view on this. How about some weekday games? I know in the past it was hard because rinks had adult leagues but most rinks have some open time during the week now. ...

    Re: AIHL Midwest

No rink will make money right away if they own the team. It takes time to build the program,to get fans, sponsors and advertisers interested. Dave did a great job and had a great plan. I think if...

    Re: AIHL Changes....

I love the advance the puck rule. I hate when teams do that and it really makes the game boring. As for the entire season being festival I have to say no. Being a family man now it is hard to leave...

    Re: AIHL website is awesome.....

The looks great. Nice job to those who got it done. Nice to see when people have some destructive criticism about last season, and the AIHL steps up and gets it done. Also great coverage from what...

    Re: AIHL Season

RUPPY - the idea is good but that would be a lot for that person to do for the entire league. I would suggest that each team go to the local college in the area and talk to the Journalism...

    Re: AIHL Season

Your absolutely correct. There are a lot of teams that do not take the time to post articles or have player profiles with pics of individual players. I think last year the site was more up to date...

Actually USAhockey9 Morristown used to have a good organization. It was started in 2004 and lets see, our first year we made the finals for both Pro and minor and lost. Then second season we won a...

    Re: TRULY "pro" inline hockey

great video. I like the helmet camera and close up action. Best Roller Hockey video i have seen. As for playing on a smaller rink, it has its good points and bad. I used to own a small rink and...

    Re: MLRH and Hitting

It all comes down to the numbers folks. Within the last couple of weeks, two key players in MLRH have been hurt. Have you heard any of this from AIHL or PIHA? The problem is not the checking, but...
