Acutally isles if the teams that are in d2 moved up to d1 and the teams in d1 who don't belong there moved down...we would have a pretty sick national tournament. Hell id rather just take the top 12...

Ya simple solution to not wasting 750 bucks if ur a weaker team. DON'T GO. Come one 8 out 9 teams from ecrha is going...ya I'm sure they all belong...

I think from a competitive standpoint there should not be more than 12. I can see there being 16, but anything over that is absurd. I'm all for underdogs winning but come one nothing ranked outside...

Guys don't bash the national tournament procedures....it is the perfect championship set up and no one should disagree with it...there is not a better solution even if u think so...there has to be...

Ok well let's just invite every team to nationals...so then that way the nchra will collect all the team fees. Well maybe we should take the regional winners than have 3 maybe 4 max at large bids. ...

I agree that the top 6 d2 teams in ecrha should move up because all 6 are better than hofstra. And I'm sorry I agree that we wanna make college hockey legit. But I think the top teams need to play...

Not to mention...I'm sorry but I think its just as bad for a team to move up to d1 that has no reason to be there (ie hofstra) than for nuemann to stay in d2.

Nyr u have to be kidding me...there are 5 or 6 d1 teams going to nationals who wouldn't even be top 10 in d2. And I'm not saying d2 teams are right for staying down or so on....but seriously hofstra...

Thanks and that's why I was asking....I saw the interegionals in va and couldn't imagine any of those past teams having better players then klenk marrioti shaw and masocio and even brockjports...

My bad I wasn't saying that they were bad...sorry...I was just suprised to hear they would manhandle the current teams. We had someone say the 06 brockport and nuemann team would manhandle the 2010...

Well this puts to rest the brockport team...obviously the 06 team couldn't hang with the current team....has there been any games like this from nuemann...

in dII I would definately say marriotti shaw chappius and keane...its not that close...neumann and brockport are the strongest they have ever been..id put those 4 up against any 4 in dII
