    For Copper Rivets, most hardware stores have a pliers that will cut the washer off...easy to use and doesn't damage the chassis.

    Or, you can use a hammer and chissel...It will cut the copper...

    The best method is to take a Scratch Awl and hammer them out. Remove your footbed and the rivets are exposed. Place the pointy end of the Awl inside the rivet and hammer away. The rivet will pop...

    Absolutely a dealer would give you a deal. If you can find 10-15 players who all want to by D-1 or D-2 skates, a dealer should definitely give you a deal.
