No one will beat LU.
Every year this discussion goes on. LU is probably 250-3 in the last 6 or 7 years. Yeah, they're gonna have an off night once in awhile and someone is gonna hit the lottery...

Ben, Have either LU or UMSL move to DII, but only one of them. I wonder if the league could find a way to make them play an early round elimination game at nationals under that scenario. At least...
A Mercy rule needs to be in place. As with the league's inconsistent rules from region to region, some have it some don't. It just takes one angry punk to cheap shot some one on the team running up...
William Bourque:
Did the cream rise? A lot of good DII teams are sitting at home while DI teams that went 4-13 are playing at the national tourney in DI. The attempt to make teams move up has been...
Nope.. not necessary... nor is having a nation championship for the B division.
I think 2 years ago Phil said that the best teams would shift to DI and that the true DI teams would all move over into the premier level of play.
I disagreed then and disagree now.
DII, just...
I don't think anyone has called the league greedy rich ****s. That's a great point - expand the fields (DII, DIII and B) by 4 more teams. After the round robin, some teams don't advance. That would...
I just saw that there's now a fee for the prvelige of watching the tournament. Is this the first year of this? Does NARCH charge now too? I think this is a poor move, given all of the other things...
Quoted from Jerry Remsbecker
If they are not, perhaps the NCRHA is not responsive to its constituents, the players and coaches ? or the players and coaches are not vocal enough. The CRHL died...
I agree.
Thank your regional directors for this one. This is a poor call from the league.
Who wants to play DI? I'd rather have a chance to win a National Championship than know I have no chance...
To elaborate a little:
Standard play as always is 4 on 4. In OT, they always play 3 on 3. Any time someone gets a minor either in OT or one that carries into it, they play 2 on 3until the penalty...
In a league when regular play is 4 on 4 and overtime is 3 on 3, what happens when::
At the end of regulation, both teams have a guy in the box (0:30 left) for offsetting minors. And, one team has...
I doubt Neumann Will ever move up. Now that they are the premier team in D2, they'll always have a reason for staying there. They probably would be a 3-6 loss team in D1. While I can see the benefit...
First of all, quit whining. Second, which game are you talking about? Third, keep your thugs off the floor if they can't stay out of the box. Fourth, for the love of god, quit whining.
The first NCT's?
It's disputable which one was really the first. There were I think 2 USA Hockey sponsored college NCTs in Las Vegas when the sport was highly unorganized. They were played in the...
If they hold to the southwest tradition, I bet they go 2-1 in round robin, and then lose their first or second game in the elimination tourney. As said before me, the region has a solid base, but...
I bet they let a lot of physical play go. They usually do come nationals, despite whatever direction the league is trying to establish. In the 6 tourneys I have played in, the officiating has always...
did i overlook something? this is off the WCRHL site....
Sorry to see that SLO. You guys were always a tough match, and always a regular battle at nationals. Not trying to pour any salt in the wounds, but you guys lost all of your games by 1 goal. Perhaps...
