To answer the question, I think you'll need to post what you're skating on and what you're getting.
hilo vs flat vs easton big-wheel is all somewhat irrelevant when they're all a 'flat' point of contact with the ground, the real difference comes from the angle it pitches the boot at, wheelbase length and . i.e. a hi-lo could be made to feel the same as a given 80mm flat chassis. (even my old wicked1s felt different to my rx60s from the boots internal pitch, and forward flex allowance at the top, same chassis, very different feel)
I'm going from CCM / EASTON OUTCAST hi- lo 80mm/72mm to Alkali CA7 all 80mm.
