I worked at a hotel for a while, the business had been for sale for a few years. I was laid off when the place was bought out and it was torn down soon after, which is sad because it was a really neat building and one of the largest hotels in the mid-Willamette Valley. That site is now where the Trader Joes/Michael's Crafts building stands. I worked at a temp agency for a while after that. I now work at a jewelry store which has been in business since the early 1970s and its the funnest job I've ever had. We were recently bought out by another mom-and-pop jewelry store, which enhanced our inventory and access to tools, etc.Moved to Portland in 2011!
