Sept 2003 Tournament

Can anyone help? I need an inline Hockey Tournament in early to mid September to send 5 Gulf Coast Elite teams to. I have U8, U10, U12, U14 and U17 Teams. Players are from Pensacola, Mobile, So. Mississippi, New Orleans, Lafayette and Lake Charles. Let me know. I wanted to send this team to Disney, however it appears they will not have their September tournament any longer.

In prior years DisneyWorld has played host to their Ultimate Inline Hockey Experience which was always held over the Labor Day Weekend. It was geared more for the Rec/Comp. levels of play, but a few Elite level teams seemed to always slip in (ie. Easton Power - 2000). I should know - we got smoked by them, and we were only a Rec. level team. It was held in the same venue (now called the Milk House) as the AAU Disney Classic Nationals are now. Great fun, good experience for the kids. Gave them a taste of "travel hockey". I did a quick search on google and came up with a bunch of hits for "Disney's Ultimate Inline Hockey Experience."

For some reason you didn't get whole message. I am looking for a early to mid Sept 2003 Tournament to send an elite Gulf Coast Team to. I know Philadalphia, PA has one, however traveling from Southeast during school year would be tough. If you know of anything close to Pensacola, Mobile, Biloxi, New Orleans or Lafayette it would help.

Sept 19-21 - Hyper Crusade at Marple in Phili
Oct 3-5 - Nike Quest at Breakaway in Arlington, TX
Nov 7 - 9 - Nike Quest at Skate Safe, Long Island, NY

Have you contacted Bill Peare at ECHO? - they do not show any tournament scheduled for September at this point, but they may have something in the works. There is one in October in florida currently scheduled. There contact # is 904 287 1255, and email is echowp@aol.com. Based in Florida they run a lot of Southeast tournaments.

Do you have confirmation of that? What a bummer. The Disney event has been a class act for several years now. Do you know why they're no longer hosting the tournament?

Please add me to your e-mail list. Also, what would be the chances of getting you to host a tournament in Gulfport, MS Labor day weekend? I can get the rink, it is a premier inline hockey specific rink built with casino tax revenues by Harrison County. We have hosted all the Major Inline Hockey Regionals and are vying for a National next year. I need to get our Gulf Coast Elite Team (which is a combination of the best of many different cities kids along the Coast) Games and this would be the perfect answer. Anyway I know it's short notice, but would appreciate any help you can give. If not I'll try and put something together another way.
